This beautiful dahlia is one of our favourites gifted and grown by our friend, Mr. Nichols. The plant keeps compact around 3' tall but produces tons of long stems with limited foliage. We notice he always produces three blooms per stem with a short center stem that we cut off to give more energy to the two longer outer stems. Mr. Nichols has less foliage than other dahlias, allowing him to focus his energy on being a bloom powerhouse. He is not the biggest tuber producer, but overcompensates with sending all of his energy to the flowers instead.
